Welcome!

The Macclesfield Weekly Market is operated by the Battunga Country Growers' Market Inc. It is held every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm on Davenport Square in Macclesfield or, in cold or wet weather, in the Macclesfield Institute. It features some of the best home-grown, hand-made, organic and fair trade produce available. This goes for the coffee in particular!

Macclesfield is a town of about 500 people in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, on the beautiful Angus River Scenic Drive (route B33), and about 45 minutes from the city of Adelaide.

Facilities

Davenport Square facilities include a large stage with mains power, public toilets (with disabled access), and play equipment for small children. An acre of fenced grass area allows kids to run free while under the watchful eyes of the stallholders. There is probably no safer place for them while parents have a quiet cup of java and a chat.

An electric barbecue is also available most weeks in the partly enclosed rotunda.

The inspirational, educational, organic, artistic, creative, musical, edible market!
