Stalls & Stallholders

Not all these stallholders can come every Sunday but regulars offer fruit and veg, clothing, cakes and savoury foods, plants, massage, tarot and, or course, coffee!

New stallholders are always welcome and trestles are available. Our main emphasis is on home-grown, home-made, planet-friendly products and services, and our sense of community. For details on joining the market, please see our 'Contact Us' page.

Community Table

The Community Table is for locals and charities to sell their wares, with no or small commission to the market. It is run by committee members.

Selling: herb/salt grinders; calico bags; hand-turned woodwork; produce from Brewarrina School; local olive oil; hand-made buttons.

Josie

A mainstay of the market and our committee, Josie has worked hard as treasurer and general organiser, and also makes clothing, hats and hair-wraps for her own stall.

Selling: unique clothing, all home-made, mainly from recycled chenille bedspreads, curtains, doyleys; crocheted hats.

Roly

Firstly our indispensable market manager, Roly also brings local organically-grown produce to the market every week.

Selling: pumpkins, potatoes, garlic, other vegetables; extra-virgin olive oil; other home-prepared produce such as pickled garlic.

He also sells vegetables grown at the Macclesfield Primary School in their organic gardens (profits go to the school).

Nancy

With a background of many years as a chef in New York, Nancy creates some unusual and delicious preserves, chutneys and pickles. She also has some fresh produce each week, usually with some hen and even duck eggs.

Milton

Milton's organic espresso coffee counter is a magnet for all market-goers and stallholders! - whether on Davenport Square or in the Institute. He offers organic/Fair Trade coffees, teas and hot chocolate. You can complement your drink with our home-made cakes and munchies.

Orn

Orn's freshly cooked delicious Pad Thai noodle dish makes a great lunch. You can also try her spring rolls (vegetarian available), chicken satay, and prawn crackers.
